Ultrasounds

Ultrasound (also known as sonography) is a safe and non-invasive procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of various parts of the body for many reasons. AROC performs numerous types of ultrasounds; in fact, we are accredited by the American College of Radiology in Gynecological, General & Vascular Ultrasound Services including Peripheral Vascular, Cerebrovascular, Abdominal Vascular and Deep Abdominal Vascular.

Did you know that ultrasounds can be performed on a patient's neck to look for the type of plaque that can lead to stroke or cardiovascular diseases? Click here to read more about carotid ultrasounds at AROC
